Z Bail Bonds ("Z Bail Bonds," "we," "us") is a bail bond agency in Seguin, Texas. We provide bail bond services in Hays, Guadalupe, Comal, Wilson, and Kendall Counties. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, forms, phone calls, and text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Before issuing a bond, we collect information about each bail bond applicant, defendant, and co-signer. We get it from you in person, by phone, by text, by email, and through our online forms. It can include:
We use your information to assess the risk of a bond, post and administer the bond, collect payment, stay in contact with you through the life of the case, protect against fraud, and meet legal and regulatory requirements. We use your phone number to call you and send text messages about your bond, as described in section 4.
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we send messages about your bond. These include check-in reminders, court date reminders, payment reminders and receipts, bond status updates, and replies to questions you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
If you opt out of texts, we will still contact you by phone or email about your bond when we need to. Your court dates and check-in requirements do not change when you opt out.
Only authorized Z Bail Bonds personnel and service providers who need the information can access it. Depending on your bond, those providers can include:
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with companies outside Z Bail Bonds that would use it to contact you about their own products or services.
Under Texas Occupations Code 1704.202(d)(3), we keep documents collected during the bond process for at least four years after the case or cases the bond covered have concluded.
We use physical and procedural safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can ask us to correct information that is wrong, and you can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Some records we must keep by law, so we may not be able to delete everything you ask us to.
Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 except as part of a bond for a defendant who is a minor, and then only from the parent or guardian who signs for it.
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
